Who we are
The Irony of "Self-Care"
I used to find myself racing against a 12-hour cancellation window, trying to rush my daughters through bedtime so I could sprint to an 8:15 PM Pilates class. I’d be checking my watch while tucking them in, feeling the stress rise as the minutes ticked by. By the time I actually got onto the reformer, I wasn't relaxed—I was exhausted from the "mad dash" it took to get there.
The Catalyst: The 9 PM Gap
It wasn't just the bedtime rush. It was the fact that by 9:00 PM—when the house finally went quiet and I actually had a moment to breathe—the world was closed. On weekends, when I finally had help from my partner, there was nowhere to go that bridged the gap between "educational screen time" for my 7-year-old and a moment of actual peace for me.
The Mission: Ending the Shuttle Service
I realized that for caregivers, self-care has become another chore on the to-do list. We spend more time in the car shuttling everyone to different locations than we do actually enjoying the activity.
I created Rayla because I wanted a place where the "multitasking" happens for you. A space where your children can learn and play in an environment designed for their growth, while you finally get the time and space for your own well-being—all under one roof. No traffic, no rushed bedtimes, and no compromising your sanity for a workout.
